To all Tulchyn countrymen associated in different regions and countries of the world, to all people of good will, whose lives and paths are connected with Tulchyn, to all statesmen and public figures, to scientists and patrons of art whose roots are in the land of Tulchyn.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

The land of Tulchyn is a rich agrarian region of Ukraine, from ancient times inhabited by Ukrainians, Russians, Jews and Poles who gained high honour and glory for this land, its history and culture with their talents and creative spirit.

“Small Paris”, as Tulchyn used to be called by the European community, always welcomed prominent statesmen and public figures of Europe, its great representatives of culture and science, literature and arts, inspiring them to great moral exploits and deeds, to noble impulses in creating masterpieces for their countries and people, without expecting any benefits or dividends.

Tulchyn was always long wishedfor and close to many great Poles,  to Russian geniuses, Jewish intellectuals, Ukrainian giants of thought, to great artistic designers from France, England, Holland and to other bright and legendary personalities.

Today Tulchyn, 400 years old and and always young, given the high status of European “Town-Museum” by the decision of UNESCO, remaining the property of mankind, is waiting for new accomplishments, but now from the descendents of those, who created and glorified the town and who will aim to discover, hidden by time, valuable new secrets which may become unexpectedly sensational.

To achieve this goal we need good will and high moral aspiration from a broad public, scientists, all fellow countrymen in Ukraine and abroad. We need keen interest and ready response of investors to socio-economic and cultural spheres, to construction and agrarian production, to preservation of historical and art monuments.

They will have considerable dividends in our strategically profitable region which boarders on Moldova.

Today Tulchyn is proud of the noble patriotic deeds of our countryman Boris Khersonsky (Dehterman), the general director of “Assol” company (Odessa). He has started some residential  and industrial construction projects. He also has some other interesting projects in socio-economic and cultural spheres.

We appeal to all countrymen and their descendants, who love their native town and its history, to lend assistance to Tulchyn in repairs and restoration of the following objects:

·         The monument to Suvorov

·         Pototsky Palace

·         Catholic Church

·         Regional Studies Museum

·         Suvorov Museum

·         Pestel House and Pestel Museum

·         Construction of hotels, campings, tourist centers

·         Exploration of the old Jewish cemerery, where noted Jews were buried

·         Repair of the municipal services

·         Restoration of the Memorial to those who perished in World Wars and Revolutions

The Tulchyn Town Council and the Presidium of Tulchyn countrymen Association will absolutely fulfill their organizational and other duties concerning the proper usage of all sums of money which will come from you for the above-mentioned goals.

Each of your creative step will be under the public control!

Dear countrymen!

Don^,t  be apathetic and indifferent.

All your investments will surely be used for the deeds which are closest to you, to your national idea, to the history of your ancestors, because it is our mutual glory which we cherish and honour.

You are always welcome to come and see everything, to make sure how to support our native town.

We remember you and believe in your high principles such as patriotism and national consciousness.

Future generations will be proud of your noble deeds. Ukraine and our Tulchyn “all sparkling in history” will be thankful for your understanding and support.
